Two Ink Self Portraits

Here are two recent self portraits that I worked on to show the different effects that can be created with linear value. The drawings were done directly with the pen from a mirror, keeping the lighting the same was a challenge. The first image uses an ink pen that has one line weight. The second uses a brush pen to start with that has a variable line and another ink pen for a grey tone.
