White Charcoal on Black Paper

 Here are some drawings with white charcoal on black paper, most from classes at the MFA the first is the devil from "Mankind's Eternal Dilemma: The Choice Between Virtue and Vice" by Frans Francken the Younger (1581 Antwerp - 1642 Antwerp) I started the drawing looking at the painting and finished it from a photo. The second was self portrait in the reflection a Rodin Sculpture, third is set in NC and was a Christmas card. Last is a detail of a silver banquet service dish.
