Abstract and Carousel Drawings

A while back I had been walking through the new wing of the MFA and saw an exhibit of early 19th carousel animals that I thought would be interesting to draw from. Unfortunately I forgot where the pieces were until I was wandering around the museum and found them a couple of weeks ago. I decided to work from the oversized pig and here is the drawing.

The second piece is an abstract sketch I working on as a study for a drawing I'm working on in the studio.
