These 2 drawings are from the Friday Figure drawing classes I teach at the MFA. Once in a while I'll draw with the class and use whatever materials are around. There was a set of prismacolor charcoal pencils that I hadn't used but worked well in the longer drawing. The gesture drawing was about 2 minutes and the longer drawing was about an hour and a half.
