Painting Study and 3 Portrait Drawings

The Painting is from a class I was teaching yesterday, it was painted over an image that a student had left and I liked how some of the shapes came through. I think the total time was around an hour and a half. The palette was cerulean blue, burnt sienna, raw umber, ultramarine blue, cad yellow med, cad yellow red, titanium white.

The three portrait drawings are from last night, I was looking for subject matter and decided to do some portraits from a Boston Pheonix that I had in the studio. I wanted to experiment with some different drawing techniques like stippling that I haven't used very much in the past.
