2 Recent Painting Demo's

The two paintings below are demo's for a painting class I'm teaching. The first is an example of still life with a palette starting with burnt sienna and ultramarine blue. The rest of the images show the process of a later project where students are choosing a photo and then using the style of a painter to complete the painting. For this example the photo is a Time life photo of the Painter Balthus and the style is from Paul Seurusier's painting The Talisman.
