Recent Sketches

For new composition ideas I've been sketching some of Peter Paul Rubens paintings.  I've been trying to break them down into the essential shapes and see how they could work with landscape imagery.

I've also been experimenting with using the composition of Ruben's Fall of the Damned into an abstract doodle and combining another doodle to make new imagery.
