Some New Paintings

Recently I've been continuing to work on some painting based on photos I've taken around the South End of Boston. The first piece was done for the Proof of Purchase SMFA benefit at Samson Projects, the sale features anonymous 4x6 postcard side images that are all 50 dollars. The next two are acrylic paintings the first is 11x14 and the last image is 12x16. The second image is from photo of a fountain and the last is from a construction site where light was moving over ice

I might continue to work on the last piece but I was happy with how it came out using a bigger brush throughout the painting. I wasn't looking at examples but Sargents watercolors from a quarry he visited came to mind as I was working on the painting.
