2 Self Portraits

Here are two self portraits one using ink with a brush and the other with color pencil. I had drawn the color pencil portrait last year and saw it again when I was teaching a lesson on color mixing with color pencils and thought it was a good demo image. The scanner I used for the image was from my printer and seems to do better job with linear work than color.

With the Ink portrait I had been looking at some of Schiele's drawings, specifically one I saw at the UNC's Ackland art museum which was drawn with charcoal but I thought the effect of his lines would transfer well with a brush.
