Drawings of Japanese and Chinese sculpture

Here are two drawings the first of a Japanese Buddhist Sculpture which was darkly lit and was an interesting challenge for figuring out the proportions of the three tiered head. The second is of a Chinese Ceramic horse.  I may be practicing some figure drawing tonight since I found out about the open figure drawing at the MFA.
